Who is the "Prince of the Plantation?"

Hello!  My name is Steve Yagyagan.  Everyone has a story to tell.  Our life is like the ocean, ebbing and flowing with the ever-changing tides.  Sometimes, the tides are gentle.  Sometimes, they are rough.  How we handle these changes, or how we grow from them, is where we find meaning in life.

When everything in life appears to be going well for us, many of us tend to be content.  When things get tough, however, we handle them with the best possible solution we believe will work.  Some of us pray to a higher source.  Some of us resort to drugs and drinking.  Some of us simply give up on life.

Like you, I too have had my own trials and tribulations.  I hope my story will help you or someone you know, especially someone who is experiencing some rough tides at this very moment.

Watch for my book, Prince of the Plantation.  In it, I share my story about life on a sugar plantation in Hawai'i during the 1960s through the 1970s.  Even though our families lived in poverty, our parents placed us high on a pedestal, like princes and princesses.  No, I was not the only prince in town.  I grew up with many princes and princesses.  Like me, they have their own stories.  This is my story.  What is your story?  Feel free to share your experiences in life, experiences that helped you grow into the person you are today.  You never know, your story may help someone else out there who might just be inspired by you and your life experiences.
